Meet Tiffany Fee

I strongly believe that every child—regardless of their background or circumstances—deserves access to high-quality education. We achieve this by keeping public funds in public schools and supporting our educators.

I have lived in Rutherford County for twenty years with my husband Matt, and our son is a public school student. As the parents of a special needs student, we have experienced the hurdles families and educators face daily. I want our school system to be one that fosters growth, embraces inclusion, and empowers every student in our community to reach their full potential.

I am the founder and president of the Rutherford County Library Alliance. Our nonprofit works to protect intellectual freedom and support library staff in our public and school libraries. RCLA formed to fight back against the Murfreesboro Decency Ordinance, which has since been repealed because it violated citizens’ constitutional rights. In under a year, my team and I grew RCLA from a grassroots group to an officially recognized nonprofit, have been awarded the 2024 Intellectual Freedom Award by the TN Library Association, and successfully testified before the TN State House and Senate this past legislative session. We were instrumental in killing two book banning bills after proving they were unlawful.

I will be as strong an advocate for our students and educators as a member of the county school board. Join me as we pave the way for a brighter future for all students in Rutherford County. Early vote July 12-27 or on the August 1 Election Day and let’s protect public education!
